My name is Kylie and I’m a mum to two mini Kidgredients, Miss 6 and Master 4. I started Kidgredients to share what I am cooking with and for my family.
Both of my kids are different, Miss 6 likes plain food whereas Master 4 likes marinades and sauces. Between them making dinnertime a success is hard work! Likewise, Master 4 won’t eat a sandwich. There’s nothing like keeping me on my toes.
I used to be a classroom teacher and I know how important it is for kids to have a filling and nutritious breakfast, lunch and dinner so as to keep them going through the day!
So I’ve got budget friendly meals, dinners, side dishes, freezer meals, lunchbox ideas and everything in between! If you’re not following us on facebook, twitter, pinterest or instagram…you can join us by using the buttons over the side.
Our family favourites are all here and I hope they will become yours too. If you’re new here, make sure you have a look through the recipe files. If you’ve been around for a while, the search will help you relocate recipes you are after.
I’m all about wholefood and homemade. By this I mean: I understand not everyone buys organic food. The place to start is wholefood and homemade. You can read more about my food philosophy in this blog post: I’m not a smug foodie.
