When kids have allergies, you can’t help but be fraught with worry that they will be given food or drinks that contain their allergies. One of the key things that I have noticed as a lunchbox afficianado is the the sheer number of products on the market that allow you to label your stuff, hence allergy proofing your lunchbox.
You might wonder why this is so important, but in busy environments such as schools and preschools, any visual reminder is helpful. If there is about to be birthday cake served and lunchboxes are still on the table, worst case scenario, the carer/teacher remembers then!
So where do you find them all? Well, I’ve compiled a list of some of the options available to you and hopefully you will find that super handy when labelling your lunchboxes. Allergy proofing your lunchbox…here we go!
Five great products for allergy proofing your lunchbox
- Name My Stuff
At number one, Name My Stuff has to be the top place to go…and why? PERMANENT labelling. If you are allergy proofing your lunchbox, you only need to do it once with the products from Name My Stuff. Tea (the owner) permamently marks each and every product that she sells and your personal message including allergies can be put on drink bottles, snack boxes and lunchboxes. You don’t have to worry about stickers coming off in the wash or anything like that!
