As you know, I received an Australian Certified Organic Hamper to review and use during Australian Organic awareness month. So, this post is sponsored, but the views contained in it are completely my own- you can’t buy my opinion. In the hamper were lots of Australian Certified Organic goodies, but one that has had me incredibly impressed is the Bare Bunny Pancake mix. We had pancakes two mornings in a row and they were amazing. The kids ate them all up and I was very happy knowing that there were absolutely no nasties in the mix!
So, I decided to join forces between a few of the ingredients and make some waffles. These were: egg free and dairy free so great for anyone who is avoiding either of those things. Now, if you don’t have a waffle iron of some description, these could probably work as pancakes. I have to admit I don’t normally use almond milk, but I had a little taste and was very surprised. So much so that I ended up having a whole glass. The coconut in this one makes it really yummy.
Let’s talk about the pancake mix. It’s nasty free, super convenient and extra yummy. This product is going to be one of the few packet mixes I’m happy to have in my house. I’m really happy to be able to endorse this product and I urge you all to get behind it. It is heaps better than the more commercial packet mix pancakes I’ve seen on the market and is Australian Certified Organic. Perfect pancake mix was only launched earlier this year by Bare Bunny and is their first product.
Waffles are at best a treat, they are yummy, but they are a sometimes food. When Master 2 and I were feeling miserable last week with colds they were the perfect pick me up, with the benefit of being fruit filled. We did serve them with some extra strawberries and a dash of maple syrup…but that was me being naughty!
