Age range: 2.5-5 (depending on appetite and whether the child takes a separate fruit break)
Where to buy: Ikea
Best for: Snacky meals, the lunchbox doesn’t contain much! Could be used for fruit break for big eaters. Use it for dry snacks to get the best out of it!

This is a small and handy lunchbox for either snacks or light meals. If you removed both sections, it would contain a sandwich, but as sold it doesn’t. Its easy to wash as it can go through the dishwasher.
Another great feature is that it is microwaveable, which means those with access to a microwave can heat up their lunch on the go. The lunchbox is also easy to open and was no problem for Master 3. It’s also freezer safe.
This lunchbox doesn’t claim to be leakproof, but it doesn’t say it isn’t either. And the info on the ikea website alludes to it being airtight and great for food storage. I can tell you though- it leaks! It only comes in 1 colour way which is unisex and great for adults and kids alike.
Cons: Ikea FESTMÅLTID is my least favorite out of the lunchboxes. It’s unfortunate, because it’s got such a great price! But the sections do reach the lid, so food transfer occurs. The silicone seal isn’t even slightly leakproof, so that’s another negative. I know that it’s cheap, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that it will leak everywhere (the website alludes to it being leakproof) and that being small it will move around in a bag unless transported in a small lunchbag that keeps it upright.
I bought this lunchbox to review, and was not paid to complete the review. All of the opinions are mine.
