This post is a review, I was sent the products to review, but all the opinions are mine. I know. You had every intention of baking today didn’t you? Sometimes, despite how empty the freezer may be or despite the fact that you have nothing to put in lunchboxes, life gets in the way. Or getting up a gazillion times a night gets you so dogtired you can’t even contemplate baking (maybe that’s just me). That’s where these Adventure Snacks mixes come in. Lazy lunches made easy with Adventure snacks!
You know I normally bake all my own snacks, right? Well this week I haven’t. I’ve used these mixes. And I’m impressed. Not only do they contain nothing nasty, but they also are things I would actually bake normally. They are easy to use, require on a few staple ingredients and they taste good. Really good…but I’ll get to that in a minute.
When I read about these mixes, I immediately thought about you guys- my readers. And I thought- you need to know about these. If you are in a situation where you aren’t a confident baker, if you don’t love cooking or if you just think I’m slightly mad for baking as much as I do, this is the post for you. There’s so many packet mixes on the market. So many easy to buy snacks, so many grab and go things. But they aren’t all as healthy and as awesome as these mixes.
I made the choc beet muffins really small- 24 of them instead of 6 because I wanted them to fit in the the yumbox…and because I couldn’t find a real sized muffin pan. But…after baking them, I took some photos…and left the 12 of them on the plate below on the table. I had a plumber down the hallway installing a new toilet and he needed to chat to me, so I left Master 3 to answer the plumbers questions. And returned to an empty plate. That’s how good they are. He ate 12. 12.
Anyway, you need to know where to buy these because so far the carrot cookies and the chocolate beetroot muffins are fab! We haven’t done the balls yet, but that’s because we can only eat so many snacks in a week…and I’m feeling another lazy week next week- so you’ll see them on insta.
