Let’s talk Mum to Mum for a moment. I am sharing my love of ModiBodi with you today. Turn away if it doesn’t interest you.
I’ve been wearing ModiBodi period undies for over 2 years now. I love them. And I think you will too. But I know the qualms, I get the ick factor…and I get the worry…I mean do they actually work?
They most certainly do, and I wouldn’t be talking about them unless I could swear by them. I could show you pictures of my ModiBodi undies to show you how much wear they have had, but I don’t know that you’d want to see them.
I hate my period. I hate the inconvenience, I hate the stress. ModiBodi help to eliminate that. In fact, they make all sorts of “moistness” (EEEEEW do you hate that word as much as me?) easier to deal with.
Every year, I go camping. We were gone for 3 weeks this year. That’s three weeks of shared bathrooms, of finding there is no loo paper when you’ve already committed and scrounging in your pocket for that tissue that is hopefully still there, of sweaty butts after scooting down the road, of general wetness.
And I basically lived in my ModiBodi undies. They have every eventuality covered. If like me, you get paranoid about 4 days before your period and go into “lockdown mode”- i.e. swap out the white shorts for navy please, then ModiBodi are your new best friend. There’s no more ruined undies, no more paranoid toilet stops every ten minutes, because you know they’ve got you covered.
Or if like me you’ve taken up exercise as a part of a healthy start to 2019, then ModiBodi need to be going with you to the gym. You see, they don’t just wick away period blood, they also wick away sweat and any minor bladder leaks that may happen (hello star jumps!).
So how many pairs do you need? I wear the light modifier ones to the gym…no sweaty stinky butt, the medium during my period (with a menstrual cup) and the heavy for overnight (no need to sleep on your back without moving all night). I have 4 light pairs, 4 medium and 2 overnight.
What about washing? SIMPLE. Rinse under cold water (camping shower!) then wash with your normal washing. Using a cold wash. No fabric softener. Then line dry. The line dry is super important- not only does it help take care of the elastic (or even lace) but it is part of the re-sanitising process if you ask me.
Just for old Mums right? Um no. ModiBodi have now got a teen/tween range called Red that is SUPER cute. With gorgeous patterns that will help your tween/teen deal with their period when it arrives. I’m seriously in love with the patterns and wishing they were available in adult sizes. I know where I will be shopping for Miss 8 when the time comes.
Just undies? Nope they’ve now used the technology used in the ModiBodi undies range to make…SWIMMERS!!!! Hello summer fun! And news just in…they have added leggings to their range!
If you think they sound like your cup of tea, then use this link: to go have a look, you will be impressed!
