Ingredients
Meatballs

pureed tomatoes

Instructions
To make the meatballs, combine all the ingredients except the oil in a large bowl.
Mix well to combine. Take tablespoonfuls of the mixture and roll into balls.
Heat a large wok until hot with the oil. Add the meatballs in batches and stir fry until browned (add extra oilas required). Remove.
Reduce the heat to medium and add the ghee/butter, stirring until melted.Add the onion, and cook until softened.
Add the garam masala, sweet paprika, coriander, ginger, chilli powder,
cinnamon stick and cardamom pods and stir fry until the kitchen smells amazing (about 2 minutes).
Return the meatballs to the wok and coat in the spices for about one minute.
Add the passata and sugar and simmer stirring for 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
Add the yoghurt and lemon juice and simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce
has thickened slightly. Serve with rice or naan breads.

Freezer friendly!
I freeze portions on a bed of rice.
