defrosted
▢
60
grams
butter
melted (I used the microwave)
▢
125
grams
caster sugar
▢
1

Instructions
Place the edges of the two pastry sheets on top of each other. Using a rolling pin, flatten the join a little.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the caster sugar of the pastry and roll over with the rolling pin again.
Brush all of the butter over the sheets of pastry.
Add 2 more tbsps of caster sugar to the pastry, spreading evenly.
Sprinkle the cinnamon all over the pastry evenly.
Roll from one edge to the centre of the pastry, keeping the roll tight. Flip and do the same from the other side.
Cut 24 hearts from the pastry, folding them as you go and placing on a baking sheet.
Brush with the remaining butter and sprinkle the remaining sugar over the top.
Bake at 220 degrees celsius for 15 minutes. (fanforced)
Remove from the oven- they will be bubbling. Allow to cool completely before eating.
Notes
