    Go green medium lunchbox review

    Go Green Medium lunchbox review

Go Green have launched a new range this year, with the Go Green Medium lunchbox being the star of the show for them. People who like the simplicity of a two piece lunchbox will be happy to see this is much smaller, and therefore lends itself to the way most schools require their food i.e. split into three distinct breaks.

    Age range: 5-adult

    Price: $42.95

    Buy from: Lime Tree Kids

Best for: ages 7+ as this still contains a fair bit of food!

    Pros:

This lunchbox is leakproof and can hold a lot of food. It's perfect for the large eater who wants a low key lunchbox with no cutesy designs. The seals are good and keep each compartment completely sealed. The seals are also replaceable.

The depth of each compartment is quite deep, so you can stack food on top of other food to utilise the space really well.

I washed it in the dishwasher, and it came out clean, but there was a fair bit of water trapped on the back between the compartments which ran all over the floor. I also found, it needs quite a bit of space in the dishwasher, despite removing the lid.

As the name suggests it comes in green but there is also a pink version. It has no gimicky patterns, or pictures, so quite appealing to the older kids. You could easily decorate with stickers or even decals if you wanted to.

This go green actually fits into a regular cooler bag which is a big plus.

Cons: My son can open this no problem, but the little connectors which hold the lid to the box are fiddly and he snapped them both on the first unassisted attempt of opening it. They can be tied back together, but I don't think they are a long term way of keeping the box in one piece.
