So, you're time poor, the kids are going crazy, it's hot outside and the kids are going crazy and did I mention the kids are going crazy? Basically, you know how you buy cranberry sauce for the big roast turkey and never use it all? Well... break it open a week early and make this 3 ingredient festive yoghurt bark.

Being no bake, no churn and basically no effort...this is a kid pleaser that keeps Mummy happy too. Because seriously, it's too hot here right now to cook anything! I was late to get on the bandwagon for yoghurt bark, but making yoghurt bark is a lot easier than finding the iceblock molds and it also takes a lot less time for the yoghurt bark to freeze than it does to freeze iceblock molds!
I have to admit, this isn't really a recipe, or if it is, it's the worlds simplest recipe because it's three ingredients, stir and freeze! Break it up once frozen and you're done. You can then place it in a container in the fridge rather than keeping it in the cake pan, because it takes up much less room when broken up.
The cranberry sauce is an awesome addition to the yoghurt and is sweet yet tart, so it works well with the vanilla as well. Really, you can't go past something that is so simple to make yet so tasty. It's almost worth buying a couple of extra jars of cranberry sauce for year round yoghurt bark!
Use the best yoghurt you can find, I like Jalna pot set greek yoghurt. It contains no nasties. If you want to, you can have a go at making your own yoghurt. It's super simple and very satisfying. You can make a litre of it for around $1.20, which is a great saving!
